A new year and full team for the visit of Gornal in which Rugby Town ran out winners on the day.
The match started with a changed formation so it took a bit for the ladies to settle into the football match, passing was stepped up and crosses in the match made for some good entertaining football from Rugby who pressed Gornal from the start.
The result seen Rugby move up to 4th in table with plenty of games to go and with a strong squad of players with all playing their part on the day.
Next season Rugby Town Women FC are looking to set up a reserve team such is the great stadium facilities they now run from and more ladies coming along, details below for players from 16 and above looking to play for Rugby Town either 1st or reserve team, get in touch!!
