Rugby Town Girls FC, entertained Hillmorton in the League Cup at a cold Kilsby Lane in their first cup match of the season.
Hillmorton were clearly up for the game and fought hard to disrupt the rhythm of Rugby Town but this team has shown plenty of times this season that they can battle to let their quality show.
The team created plenty of chances when the ball was moved forwards with Charlie getting behind the defence on many occasions and Molly taking on and beating players and both being rewarded with First Half goals.
It would have been easy to believe the job was done but the players retained their energy and enthusiasm as they attacked even more relentlessly in the second half.
Frequent substitutions were made and players moved around positions to gain experience and 5 more goals were added to the score line with Molly scoring another 3 and Amber and player of the match Megan, who worked tirelessly to pressure the defence and reach every ball, scoring a goal each.
