5th match of the 2024/2025 Season.
Today’s match was against a strong Burbage side. The toughest game we’ve had so far this season.
The girls showed their ability to step up to the challenge. They kept their composure under pressure with great passes and awareness of each other on the pitch. They attacked as a unit creating opportunities for each other and showed strong defence. Burbage were strong and quick on the ball but our girls put in strong tackles and never gave up. Both goalies worked hard and showed strength against some strong shots from Burbage.
A well matched game today and the Lionesses rose to the challenge.
Its always tough to choose a player of the match each week as all of them deserve it. This week we chose Sienna.
