A really good game of football with positive signs that the training we have been doing recently is paying off.
It was 9 a side on a fairly small pitch so our instructions of playing in position and not drifting out of their corridors needed to be followed. The girls listened and delivered.
The first half a pretty even affair with lots of chances by both teams.
The second half was a credit to the girls as they came out with maximum energy.
It wasn’t long before their hard work paid off thanks to some lovely passing up the pitch.
The girls were really starting to hold their positions which meant we were pushing 90% of the game in the oppositions half.
Player of the match was Leila, she is really listening to the guidance she is being given and her work rate is benefiting from it.
