The U10s were in action on Sunday against last year’s League Cup winners Saffron Dynamo.
The game was a tight affair in the 1st half as both teams tried to gain the ascendancy, with Saffron rewarded with some clinical finishing just before half time
The 2nd half saw the girls begin to play some better football, whilst also defending resolutely against a strong Saffron team, whose coach said was their most competitive game in a long time.
The girls should be very proud of the way they held a more compact shape yesterday, in what was a very enjoyable game to watch. Mia played her best game of the season; Izzy was as tenacious as ever whilst Maddie won countless tackles.
Soph was a tiger in the tackle, Vic was excellent in defence and Bella grew in confidence.
