Another challenging game for the girls against another strong and experienced set of visitors. With no subs and in the sweltering heat the girls were yet again warriors battling hard for one another and unfortunately just got caught stretched a few times through the game.
The girls came strong again after some success going forward and looked to be pulling themselves back into the game but the Lionesses became expectedly tired and stretched and eventually succumbed to the visitors pressure and freshness.
Overall they were unlucky not to end up with more from the game, but a spirited performance by a great group of girls whose efforts will get rewarded real soon. Keep battling girls ⚽
