At Rugby Town Girls and Women FC, we rely on a team of volunteers for everything from club chairperson to team coaches.
We have a wide range of opportunities available, so whether it is coaching, admin, welfare, referring, or social media – whatever your passion we would love to hear from you! It is hugely rewarding and great fun.

Courses
The FA host a wide range of free online courses. As a minimum for any club coach/manager, we require them to complete the FA Level 1 (which also includes basic first aid and safeguarding) and team assistants a minium of a Playmaker course which is the initial stepping stone onto the FA Level 1 Course. To complete this course, please visit The FA – Bootroom, Create a FAN, and complete the course.
All of our coaches are also required to hold a form of FA safeguarding qualification. You can find all the safeguarding courses on The FA Bootroom, including the Safeguarding Children Re-Certification.
DBS Checks
It is required that all volunteers, who have some involvement with children obtain a DBS check. Please see the guidance documents below for FAQs and how to process your DBS check.
