Well done to all of the girls today, after a slow start the girls found there feet and started to try and play football, some of the passes today were brilliant capped by a great performance Amelie and Evie.
Player of the match went to Millie H who grew in confidence in the game and became a real threat going forward and won many of the midfield battles,. Keep going, you showcased today you have the skills, confidence and passing range to be great midfielder.
Millie, staring in goal, delivered an accomplished performance. Mille played up front in the 2nd half and created several chances.
Florence and Evie were full of energy today. Both ran their socks off to create chances going forward and worked hard to track back and defend. Both did a stint in goal. Well done girls.
Liyanah started the game up front due to the quick start from Groby didn’t see much of the ball. She worked hard to drop back and help. Liyanah is probably the best dribbler in the team and showcased this today. Her passing is improving with the majority being successful.
Amelie started on the wing today and was excellent in winning the ball and pushing forward, working well with Evie and Liyanah, Amelie moved to play at the back with Darcie forming a really good partnership in the 2nd half, Darcie like most of the team grew in confidence as the match went on and made some great tackles and passes our from the back. Keep going girls if you play every game like you did in the 2nd half, you will be flyting. Well done
Parents player went to Evie, who was full of energy through out the game. Well done
Coaches award nominated by Lily went to Florence -Lily felt Florence worked hard, tackled well, was strong on the ball, and made some great passes – I agree, well done Florence.
Great game, the 2nd half the girls did really well, having only 7 players is hard, the girls were getting tired but never gave up – very proud of how they played today. Well done all.
