We are thrilled to welcome new sponsor – Royal Mail – to the RTGWFC Family!
On the 29th November, Rugby Town Girls U11 Lionesses newest sponsors came to meet the team during their regular Friday evening training session. We had the pleasure of welcoming Royal Mail representatives, Simon Robison (one of our very own parents) & Alistair Cochrane (Chief Operating Officer).
This sponsorship from Royal Mail finally has provided the entire team with new Match Shirts, Shorts, Socks, Beanie Hats & Tracksuit tops. The players proudly wore their shiny new attire and were especially pleased with the extra warmth given by the beanie hats and tracksuit tops on such a chilly evening. The evening was a fun affair, with the girls being excited to meet their special guests, and have their photos taken by a professional photographer commissioned by Royal Mail.
The players are happy and some have stated that the new kit “makes us feel like a proper professional football team”. The coaches are pleased on how smart the team look and the little phycological boost players seem to have gained. Coincidence or not, it’s worth noting that the team have seen a fantastic improvement in their play since they have worn wore their new kit.
