Our second match of the season as our newly formed team became more familiar with new positions and we welcomed new teammates.
On yet another hot September day our Under 9’s played a local derby against Rugby Borough. A tough match and under tough conditions the girls showcased unwavering determination. The girls did a lot of running and every player fought effortlessly to gain possession of the ball, displaying good teamwork and effort to the final whistle. On a hot and sunny day, the girls proved that success is not just measured by results but also by the joy of playing together.
The player of the match went to Saanvi for her boundless energy, enthusiasm, and positive spirit. Relentlessly and effortlessly running from one end of the pitch to the other and showing great skill in all positions. Very well done and very well deserved Saanvi.
