This Sunday saw the Lionesses play there second competitive game as a newly formed team, This was our first away game playing on grass and the girls adapted very well. We started nervously but grew into the game the longer it went on and took control of the second half creating lots of attacking play against the opposition who also played a good game.
Supporters Player Of The Match – Khadeejah, who switched from defence to midfield in the second half making her mark. Emily and Poppy providing strong a platform in defence with strong tackles and Phoebe again providing a strong performance. Robyn and Lydia worked tirelessly in the midfield with a really good debut in attack from Annabelle. Great effort from all the girls and great to see them all grow in confidence.
