This Sunday Rugby Town U9 played against a team from BoroughAlliance.
The girls are developing their confidence and it is nice to see a lot more players making good runs and calling for the balls. We spent most of the first half in the opposition half of the pitch exhibiting some powerful play.
The girls are developing some great game awareness at the back(positioning and covering), and this really made it difficult for the opposition to spend any meaningful time in our half. Ultimately the opposition added two extra players to try to make the game more even and you could see that they are in the process of building a team with a lot of new players.
