Team Sponsor: Lisa Collins Hair DesignLast night, some of the 2022/23 season U16 team received their League Runners Up trophies at Butlin Road. They completed their season back in March and finished only 1 point below the League Winners, Leicester City Ladies. The U16s had a strong season with 11 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss.
The presentation of their trophies draws to a close to their junior football journey with 10 of the players moving to our Women’s team. Therefore, this is the perfect time for some thank yous.

Parents – you have been wonderful. Not only for driving your daughters around the deepest, darkest Leicestershire but for your enthusiasm, support, and good humor. Teenagers sometimes forget to say thank you, so I will on their behalf. The team and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Richard – you were an integral part of the team for many years and have up lots of time for additional training sessions. I very much enjoyed our time on the side-lines, thank you for your support
Lee and Jason – have both provided extra training sessions over the last few seasons to provide new coaching insights and ideas to help the team continue to improve.
And finally – thank you to the players, who are at the center of everything we do. I took the team on when you were 10/11-year-old children and have watched you grow into the fantastic young people you are today. It has been a pleasure to coach you and I am immensely proud of the opportunity I was given to be a part of your lives. I wish you all nothing but the best moving forward, and I am excited to see some of you pull on the blue shirt for the first team.
