Rugby Town Girls U14s v Hong Kong Football Club

An enjoyable if not rather wet game to host against a very experienced side from Hong Kong.

The girls all worked hard and didn’t let their heads drop during a tough game. Fifi, who is new to the goalkeeper position made some great saves and commanded her area well. The outfield players battled hard and Bailey was played through only to see her shot across the box saved.

Well done to all the players involved, they defended well and would have learned a lot from playing a much more experienced side in a larger stadium.

It was great to see the two teams socialising in the clubhouse after the game, an experience they will hopefully remember.

Hope the above is OK Jason, not really much for us to say as we didn’t really create that much!!
