A solid performance today with there really not being much in it, we just couldn’t get that goal we deserved. Some signs of the training drills we do which is good to see. Solid back 3 performance with Daisy-May out pacing anybody in her way, lots of hard work from the middle of the pitch with Ron doing what Ron does and taking control even though she was carrying an injury. Macey stringing some lovely passes together and adapting to upfront well.
Poppys throwing seems to just be getting longer, something I feel we can utilise, the Rory Delap Youtube watching is clearly paying off.
All of the girls put an absolute shift in and that’s all we can ask, seeing them play football together week in week out is brilliant.
Coaches player Soph, She is a real unsung player she gives it her all in training and in the game, she controls her zone and really is coming into her own Well done Soph.
The goals will come if we continue to work hard at training and take that energy into the next game against top of the league Loughborough.
Full time 0-0, no goals for the mums to celebrate mothers day today 🙁 but plenty to be positive about with the hard work from all of the girls.
