On Remembrance Sunday our Under 8s Lionesses played our Under 7s. A minutes silence was perfectly observed before the game kicked off.
It was an exciting game with lots of action all over the pitch, there was plenty of tackling, dribbling and shots on goal. It was great to see the club’s two newest teams playing a league game and gaining experience in playing matches.
After the game the Under 8s Lionesses had a social event in the clubhouse, they managed to eat most of the snacks available with not much left over.
The next event was for the U8 Lionesses to be mascots in the stadium for the Women’s game versus Leamington. Lots of the girls stayed to watch the game and could be heard cheering loudly.
A great day for the girls, seeing some different aspects of the game and opportunities to bond more as a team.
