Dunton Broughton United Juniors U8’s v Rugby Town U8’s

A sunny autumn morning made for a great game of football for both players and spectators. Excited and raring to go the game gained pace and momentum. The girls were challenged in all areas and battled well demonstrating some great passing. It was an exciting game to watch as opportunities were created and narrowly missed. Rugby Town had to dig deep in defence and did a mighty fine job. Our girls showed some great resilience and determination. Stamina was tested as the girls had to follow the flow of the game from one end of the pitch to the other. The opposition had confident control of the ball and communicated well as a team. A good, fair and balanced match was played out.

Lexi scooped player of the match for control, effort and fantastic skills upfront. Well done all.
