Our U15s challenging season continues, this time over in Oadby in artic conditions. Proper grassroots football weather! A number of injuries and unavailability meant only 2 subs and a number of players out of their usual position on the pitch, the team adapted well to required changes
Despite the score line, a much more pleasing effort from Rugby today. Team communication on the pitch was the best it’s been all season, the team must work hard on keeping this going as it makes such a difference.
Quicker passing was the order of the day and generally the team stepped up and tried to execute the match instructions. We were caught less in possession than previous games. A bit of work needed to increase the percentage of passes to blue shirts
The theme of today was shots are target, with in excess of 15 shots that either hit the post or were saved by the keeper, with still more going wide.
Team attitude and humour was 100% today which made for a pleasant morning of football. Well done girls, more positives today and the points will surely come soon if you keep showing improvement.
