The U10s Girls put on an excellent performance on Sunday in their game against Markfield.
After a transitional start to the season in which the new girls gained match experience, the girls have now moved to more fixed positions. The girls played some nice expansive football, and made the pitch big with some nice link up play.
Our 2 new keepers, Alice and Lara, were both excellent in goal, and got the ball out quickly. Whilst out on the pitch, as attackers, they stretched the opposition defence with some excellent movement.
Victoria distributed the ball nicely from the back, and Bella put in lots of good tackles. Maddie, Soph, Izzy and Mia all passed the ball around nicely in midfield, always looking for each other. This led to several goal scoring opportunities with Izzy particularly taking advantage of the chances.

A final mention must be made to Mia who was immense today after a difficult past few days. She was an amazing Captain today.
