Team: Erin, Saanvi, Lily, Peggy, Scarlett, Mabel, May, Lexi, Evelyn
Today saw the U7’s play at home to Epworth Forest Lionesses. The girls all played outstandingly with lots of positive play being made.
The first half saw Peggy and Lily in goal and Saanvi and Mabel in defence, all played strong and showed their ever growing abilities. Erin up front transitioned some great passes from midfielders into positive play. The girls consistently showed excellent team work, holding position and passing superbly.
The second half saw a swap around of positions and Lexi made lots of strong passes and runs resulting in further positive play. Evelyn and Lily demonstrated their excellent tackling skills and made some great passes and runs. The girls continued with their strong team work skills which was well rewarded throughout the game.
All of them were amazing and a real pleasure to watch but the star of the show today was Lexi, she’s consistently an awesome player and today saw her demonstrate some fantastic skill and ability, well done Lexi!
