Well the sun came out for warm up but didn’t stay for the match.
In the first half in pouring rain the girls got stuck in battling for and keeping control of the ball. The pre game instructions were being followed well and paid off as we dominated the first half.
Leicester came back fighting second half making us defend heavily for a short period but it wasn’t long before we took control again.
Brilliant effort today by every single one of the girls, some lovely passing and good to see the girls are starting to look up and are learning where they should be on the pitch.All that pulled together gave a result worthy of the hard work, Well done girls!
