A VERY wet morning for the U15’s at the Daventry Super 6 Tournament on Saturday morning; a win, draw and 2 losses didn’t see the girls progress past the group stages, but the team (and soggy parents) were in good spirits throughout!
The Under 11’s benefitted from much better weather in the same tournament in the afternoon; despite not losing a game and only conceding one goal the girls were unlucky to lose on penalties in the Quarter Final following some outrageous decision making!
The U11 Lionesses competed in the Burbage tournament today. It was a competitive day and a good opportunity for two new girls to the team to play their first 7v7 games. Although we didn’t win, it was positive that we only lost 1-0 to the tournament winners and that was the only goal we conceded all day, apart from an unlucky own goal from a corner. Well done to all the girls involved!
The Under 12’s attended their first tournament in Harborough today. They made the semi final of the Silver Cup and were unlucky to go down 1-0. All the girls showed great courage and determination in their 4 games and can be very proud of their efforts today! Thanks to all the parents that supported and to Martin as solo coach!
