👏 Charlotte and Erin 👏
Friday night saw another excellent session for our youngest group. There were 14 in attendance, which is the largest number so far, and we still have a couple expected to return next week!
All the girls were enthusiastic in the training with Coach Alice trying a few different exercises to keep the girls interested and entertained. So far, the tasks set have been all about exercise, getting comfortable with the football, making new friends and, most importantly, having fun!
On Friday, Coach Alice decided to try something a little different and but the practice into action. The girls were put into a mini match situation to see how they got on. Alice, Pete and young leader Evie, were a little unsure on how it would go, but they need not have worried. All the girls were fantastic, showing dribbling, shooting and tackling skills and displaying great athleticism. In fact, maybe a little TOO much athleticism, as they ran quite a distance from the pitch
As everyone did so well, it was hard to select a single Wildcat star of the week, so joint winners were decided upon;
Charlotte is one of our youngest Wildcat and showed great ball skills for someone so young. She is always happy and willing to learn.
Erin is one of our newest Wildcats and has shown fantastic enthusiasm from the moment she first walked onto the pitch. Erin is always smiling and is showing a great passion for the game.
Well done to Erin and Charlotte, and all our Wildcats. It looks like we have stars of the future in this group!
