To join in The FA Womens Girls Football Week, Rugby Town Girls FC will be running their 2018 Annual Schools Girls Only Football Tournament for local schools which we expect to be just as well received and successful as previous years.
This year the Club has managed to part fund the event through a small grant which enables us to keep the entrance fee to just £10 per team and is split into the following school years. Years 1 & 2 Years 3 & 4 Years 5 & 6
We invite your school to enter teams in this year’s 5 a-side tournament being held on Saturday, 28th April, Rugby Town’s Facility based at Kilsby Lane, home of girls & ladies football in Rugby.
Schools can enter as many teams as they wish with a maximum of 9 players per squad. Each team will play a minimum of 4 games.
All girls taking part will receive a memento from the day and players from Rugby Town Ladies will be there to present trophies, answer questions and to also act as a role model for the girls playing in the event on the day.
