Rugby U10’s were quite clinical in front of goal when they took on a young emerging Asfordby team.
With a full squad to choose from, Poppy started in goal before giving way to the returning Jenna in the 2nd half. A solid back line of captain for the day, Katie, Marley and Rosie kept things under control.
After a quiet start from both teams Lila. Holly and Jasmine started to gain the advantage in midfield and set up numerous chances for Melisa and Madi up front. A little bit of a swap round with the substitutes allowed Lois to come on in defense and others to play in different positions than they normally do. Parents player of the match was Melisa and the vote for coach’s player was Lila. Also, thanks to Darren for standing in as referee for the game.
