Tough day at the office for the Ladies Development team away at Walsall Wood, with only eleven players available & missing regular keeper Tash & centre back Abigail, this put the team under a lot of pressure in all areas of the pitch & was further compounded by having regular defender Karen having to go in goal in the first half & central midfielder Charlie in the second half.
It was pleasing again though, to see the teams heads not drop and the ladies pushed on until the end, but we have just got to do the simple things right & the rest will fall into place.
Onwards and upwards as they say. Farewell to Paige who is off to the join the Navy in a few months, she will be thoroughly missed on the left hand side of the pitch, but well done Paige for getting in.
